Master in Information Technology


Program Description


The Master in Information Technology (MIT) program provides opportunity for participants to undertake in-depth study of today's developments in various IT fields. The program provides a comprehensive postgraduate education in information technology which will meet the needs of those who wish to add IT skills to their existing qualification or work experience, or IT professionals or recent graduates seeking to extend or update their knowledge.


The program requires a completion of twenty-seven (27) units of core and professional courses, six (6) units of free elective courses and six (6) units of independent study (capstone project) for ITE degree holders, as well as additional remedial courses for Non-ITE degree holders.

The Master in Information Technology aims to produce competent graduates that meet the following IT needs of the business world:

The Program will assist students deal with major organizational information systems challenges such as assessing information needs at different levels within an organization, designing systems, creating information systems architecture that aligns with the goals and mission of the organization.

The potential students for this course are:

  • Graduates of BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Infomation Technology or any computer-related degrees.
  • Graduates with Non-ITE degrees may also be accepted in the program*
