FEU-East Asia College participated in the 24th International Coastal Clean-up

FEU – East Asia College’s Associates and students, in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) - Central Office, participated in the 24th International Coastal Clean-Up held on September 19, 2009 at Manila Bay, Barangay San Dionisio, Paranaque City. The said event aims to raise awareness and concern for the coastal areas and waterways.

Dr. May Rose C. Imperial, Senior Director for Academic Affairs headed the FEU - EAC volunteers composed of non-teaching staff and faculty members while Mr. Dan Lester Mendoza, President of the Student Coordinating Council (SCC) led the Student Leaders. 

Along with other schools, colleges, and universities, Associates, and students actively joined the clean-up, which includes retrieval and sorting of solid wastes, cigarette butts, plastic bags, and containers.
