Faculty Immersion at Healthsolutions Enterprise

Engr. Felix S. Cortes, Jr., Full-Time Faculty Member of the Electronics Department will start his Faculty Immersion Program beginning the Second Term of SY 09–10 at Healthsolutions Enterprises, Inc., one of our industry partners.

Healthsolutions Enterprises, Inc. is a healthcare solutions provider and is engaged in the distribution and maintenance of imported high quality and affordable hospital, medical, and laboratory equipment in the Philippines.  Its principals, the manufacturers of the equipment they distribute and maintain, are: Topwide/Wuhan (China); Mediprema (France); Arkray (Japan); Siemens (Germany); Becton Dickins (USA); CR Bard (USA); GE Datex Ohmeda (USA); and Vital Signs, Inc. (USA).

Our partnership with Healthsolutions Enterprises, Inc. started during the First Trimester of SY 09-10 with the deployment of EcE Student Interns.  It is gradually expanding its coverage with the immersion of Engr. Cortes.  After the Faculty Immersion Program, the College is looking forward to the development of the Biotech/Biomedical Track Elective (for the Electronics Engineering Curriculum).   Healthsolutions Enterprises, Inc. has expressed its interest in assisting the College with this endeavor.

Engr. Cortes is the seventh faculty member to be immersed with our industry partners.
