iTams Unstoppable @ 18

November 30, 2010

In the celebration of FEU – East Asia College’s eighteen years of excellence in Technology, iTamaraws gathered and witnessed the College’s “unstoppable” groove of commemorating the College Week.

The week of October 26-30, 2010 had been filled with student-enticing activities which encompassed the interests of every iTam. Among the activities that the students enjoyed were those that the College annually hold like the iTam English Ambassadors, Robowiz, EEE Wizard Cup, 8’s a Race, Master Mind, Blood Letting Project, and Step Up Dance Competition. At the end of each activity, iTams were certainly entertained and informed. They also took pleasure on the iTam Collectibles that were offered in the AERO Bazaar.

Being unstoppable at 18, the College also hosted new activities that brought more surprise and excitement to the whole FEU – East Asia College. This included the 1st General Engineering Quiz Bee, which challenged all the Engineering students’ competencies in Engineering management, mechanics, probability, general math, general science, and statistics. There also were Aeroboxing Class, Photo Exhibit, AVP Movie Making Competition, Best Students’ Project Competition, and iTam Got Talent, which was a localized rendition of Pilipinas Got Talent. Moreover, iTamaraws had also proven their beauties and brains as they graced the stage during the first-ever Mr. and Ms. FEU – East Asia College 2010. The week culminated with the iTams Unstoppable @ XVIII Variety Show wherein students and Associates went back-to-back in showing their talents and special presentations. The variety show was made even more special with the participation of the entertainer, Tuesday Vargas.

Top companies in the country also graced the celebration by conducting product presentations, marketing activities, and career orientations. Bit-defender offered free subscription of Anti Virus to iTamaraws who liked their page on a social networking site. Meanwhile, Autodesk / Wordtext Systems Inc. and Wi-tribe showcased their products through their sales booth inside the Main Building. Power Mac Center, on the other hand, hosted a seminar and a video-editing contest for the students. Smart Communications, for its part, tallied the votes for the Mr. and Ms. FEU - East Asia College. Accenture, Sykes and Jobs DB.com also contributed to the success of the College Week. All these and more prove that iTams are really unstoppable at eighteen.
