iTams Homegrown Talents Conquer Other FEU Institutes in the SAYAWIT 2010

For the very first time, FEU - East Asia College joined the SAYAWIT 2010 organized by the Far Eastern University Central Student Organization (FEUCSO). With the theme “Perform, Learn, Act, this Yuletide season” (PLAY), SAYAWIT 2010 was held on December 14, 2010 at the FEU Auditorium and FEU Grounds.

Aimed to promote unity and camaraderie by fostering a healthy competition in the field of singing and dancing among Institutes of FEU, SAYAWIT 2010 was composed of five competitions, namely: Solo Singing, Cultural Dance, Christmas Carol Fest, Modern Dance Showdown, and Band Competition.

The College’s Artist Connection - Exude Dancers grabbed the first place for the Modern Dance category. The team composed of Paolo Carreon, Peter Jade Perez, Jeffrey Delabajan, Joseph Robert Mendoza, Christopher Jabines, Noriel Zuleta, Fernan Roi Soliven, Cort Catajay, KC Lyne Pagulayan and Jillianne Escover, with choreographer Timothy Tabulao II, wowed and stunned the audience with their acrobatic and exhilarating dance steps.

Meanwhile, the College’s Artist Connection - Music Synergy placed second in the band competition. With its vocalist Jetromus Bardillon and members Kris Lirgie Magsino, Benedict Soliman, John Arvic Fabiculana, Gian Egamino, and John Jafet Liboque, the team defeated the more experienced band groups from other Institutes.

FEU - EAC’s Chorale and Cultural Dance Group also joined the competition and exhibited their talents. In addition, Bernadette Trinidad, a 1st year BSIT student, sang her version of Note to God in the Solo Singing Competition.
