FEU-EAC Goes to Fontana

May 17, 2011

Taking a break from their formal business looks, the Associates of FEU – East Asia College grabbed their tanks, shorts, suits and flip flops to enjoy the summer heat in the Philippines’ newest, largest and most advanced integrated leisure park – the Fontana Leisure Parks in Clarkfield, Pampanga. Held on May 6, 2011, a total of 185 teaching and non-teaching Associates of the College gathered together for a day of fun, entertainment and recognition.

While using this opportunity to spend time establishing stronger ties with each other, the Associates enjoyed playing and swimming in the Water Theme Park where they were offered various recreational activities in its Wave Pool, Three Giant Aqua Thrill Slides, Lazy River Water Factory, Pirate Ship, Hot Spring & Lagoon Pool and its Olympic-Size Pool. Some Associates also showed their hidden talents in sports like basketball, and the all-time Filipino favorite – videoke.

Apart from the activities shared by the Associates, the College also recognized the Associates who showed exemplary performance. Clad in their summer wears, Executive Director Benson Tan, Dr. May Rose Imperial and Edna Anicete gave out awards for Perfect Attendance, Outstanding Associate, 5 Years Service and Teaching Excellence for the 2nd Term of School Year 2010-2011 in a program facilitated by HR Director Jacklyn Anne Mantolino. With the wits and humor of the programs hosts Ms. Rylyn Dala and Mr. John Wilmer Jimenez of SACSO, the event was even more fun and engaging.

Through vigorous and relaxing activities like these, the Associates of FEU-EAC not only had a break from the hustle and bustle of their academic loads but also, more importantly, they formed stronger bonds that will enable them to work closely and willingly with each other for the betterment of their service to the College.
