FEU-EAC Conducts Seminars for Associates

May 18, 2011

FEU - East Asia College, in fulfilling its commitment of providing quality education, views its Associates – through their abilities, efforts and service – as one of its primary partners in honing the students. In this regard, the College conducted seminars that will improve not only their customer relation abilities but also their health.

Taking note of the Associates’ physical well-being, the College hosted a Wellness Lecture on Hypertension on April 27, 2011. Associates benefited from the lecture given by Maria Czarina M. Acelajado, MD who is currently a designated Specialist in Clinical Hypertension from the American Society of Hypertension. The lecture aimed to improve the health status of the Associates and serve as an eye opener on the prevalence of hypertension, its risk factors and its prevention. Dr. Acelajado also shared some practical guidelines on how to achieve a healthy lifestyle.

To provide quality service, on the other hand, the Training Seminar on Customer Relations II was held on April 29, 2011. This was in response to the recommendations given after the first part of the Customer Relations Training Seminar held on October 2, 2010. Mr. Renato Jose Ma. V. Molano, a professor from De La Salle University - Manila, gave a lecture which highlighted learning new and effective methods of interfacing with customers and handling irate customers. This second installment of the seminar equipped the Associates with in-depth understanding of customer service, their needs, and the tools they can use to meet and even exceed customer expectations.

With the seminars and other trainings that the Associates receive, FEU - East Asia College continues to strive in providing its customers excellent service.
