FEU-EAC Strengthens International Academic Partnership

As FEU – East Asia College continues to be an institution of quality education and relevant partnerships, the College also strengthened its collaboration with premier universities in Asia through the its academic tours held in South Korea from April 25-29, 2011 and in Taiwan from May 11-15, 2011. Composed of the promising students and Associates of the College, the delegation headed by Executive Director Benson Tan explored the Far East University in South Korea and Cheng Shiu University, National Sun Yat-sen University, and National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences in Taiwan.

Apart from the students’ exposure and furtherance of their understanding on their chosen fields, the trip also became a venue for learning of the Associates. The Associates were able to consult the universities’ curriculum, study on the research facilities and methodologies of these institutions. The trip was highlighted by the finalization of the Memorandum of Agreement with Far East University, Cheng Shiu University, and National Kaohsiung University. Under the anticipated alliance, the institutions agreed to exchange scholars, students, and researchers.

Although this is the first time that the College sent an official set of delegates abroad, iTamaraws are sure to expect more of international trips and opportunities as FEU – East Asia College gives focus to the international academic partnership.
