CE Instructor, 6th Place in Sanitary Engineering Licensure Examination

Joining the roster of mentors in the Civil Engineering Department is Engr. Franz Furby Ramos. He took his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from University of the Philippines Los Baños and earned his license for the said degree in the November 2005 CE Licensure Exam. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and was granted an Award for Academic Excellence in Science by the Department of Science and Technology “In Touch with Excellence.” Recently, Engr. Ramos was able to earn another Degree after finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from National University. This credential was even authenticated after he placed 6th in the September 2011 Sanitary Engineering Licensure Examination.

The Sanitary Licensure Examination covers multiple areas in Engineering which includes Civil Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Waste Water Engineering, Water Supply Engineering and Sanitary Science. This examination validates the skills and knowledge of the examinees on the application of engineering methods on improving sanitation of human communities.
