FEU-EAC Continues to Expand International Academic Partnership

September 07, 2011

After the successful tie-ups with premier universities, FEU – East Asia College continues to expand its academic partnership as it now collaborates with Eastern Asia University (EAU) in Bangkok, Thailand. Executive Director Benson Tan represented the College while President Chotiras Chavanich and Dean Sombat Teekasap of the Faculty of Engineering penned the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on academic cooperation during the campus tour held in EAU from July 2-5, 2011.

Guided by the mission reflected in the abbreviated name of the school, EAU assures the production of young graduates who are efficient in the workforce while maintaining good work ethics, adaptive in the changing social environment, and equipped with the universal wisdom to realize the importance of life-long learning. In achieving this, great emphasis is put on academic research and development as well as the instructional development to meet the students’ needs.

With the same commitment and mission shared by FEU-EAC and EAU, both institutions agreed to host exchange students and academic personnel programs as well as to hold cooperative research and share academic materials. This partnership is another move by the College to grant the iTamaraws the privilege to experience wider academic excellence with opportunity for cultural growth.
