September 09, 2011

Gearing towards guiding high school students in choosing the right track for their college life, FEU - East Asia College eagerly accepted the invitation to be one of the exhibitors in the E Project’s Career Guide 2011: College Conference and Exhibit with the theme “3D: Design, Decision, Determination” held at the World Trade Center Hall D on August 26-27, 2011.

FEU – East Asia College, together with 12 other colleges and universities, dressed its booth with its most student-friendly designs that reflect what the College has to offer to the students. Participants also wore in fashion the personalized FEU-EAC button pins that were given away as souvenirs. Application forms and brochures were also distributed to interested high school students to make their admission to the College easier.

The event was also designed to be a venue for different performances from the exhibitors. FEU-EAC featured its Tech Squad which showcased their winning act that made them the recent Champion in the 2011 Milo Cheering Competition held on July 31, 2011. Also, the college was represented by Allan Castillo who sang his own rendition of “Paano Na Kaya.” Other exhibitors also featured their own dance troupes and chorale.

Aiding the students in making a firm decision, E Project also invited speakers from different colleges and universities to talk about the various industries that college-bound students can choose from. Several associates from FEU-EAC oriented the students with the innovative programs and the possible career they can have with the help of the institution.

The students’ determination was even more strengthened through the wise words of the invited conference speakers. E Project brought to the audience four of the most influential people in their respective fields: Mr. Bong Saquing for “The Role of Today’s Youth in Nation Building,” Robert Racasa for “Memory Power,” Ms. Abbygale Arenas-De Leon for “Image Building and Self Confidence,” and Mr. Anthony Pangilinan for “Angat sa Iba: Developing in Your Kids the Behaviors and Attitudes to Help Them Succeed.”

United in the mission of empowering students with the effective tools in decision making, Career Guide 2011, through the efforts of E Project, the exhibitors and sponsors, closed the event with success. Truly, with Design, Decision and Determination combined, students are sure to get the best support system in realizing their course of interest that will lead them to a brighter future.
