December 02, 2011

Twenty-two Recognized Student Organization officers and eight advisers participated in the Developmental Training held on November 19, 2011 at Forest Club in Laguna. Headed by the Students Affairs and Community Services Office, the training aimed to discuss and strengthen the roles and responsibilities of campus advisers and officers.

Mr. Renato Molano, a professor and Training Consultant of the Information Technology Department of De La Salle University – Manila, facilitated the whole-day training. Several topics were discussed such as the important roles of students and advisers in producing quality projects, the importance of teamwork, and effective leadership. Relevant activities and games were also conducted to reinforce the relationship between student officers and advisers.

At the end of the day, the student leaders recognized that their active participation in organizations will make them develop their leadership skills, explore new interests, and meet new people. This, along with the proper guidance of their respective advisers, will yield to the fulfillment of their organization’s objectives.
