Counseling Service


This is a one-on-one relationship predicated upon the need of the students to talk over his problems with one who has the necessary skill to help him.


It is designed to assist the student understand himself and his opportunities; to make appropriate and effective adjustments to his environment in which he lives and decisions in the light of his insight; to accept personal responsibility for his choice and to follow courses of action in harmony with his choice.

Career Education Program


This is designed to provide assistance and help to the individual student in enhancing and developing his personality, potentials, ability, skills and talents from the time he enter to the College until he become alumni. The service is focused in helping and assisting student with academic and/or personal difficulties, student with average academic performance and student with distinct academic and co-curricular achievements. The program is also designed to help and assist the student in the process of building his path toward the attainment of his career in life.

Testing Program


This service is designed to conduct standardized tests, which are necessary in the process of helping and assisting the individual student in assessing his personality, potentials, ability and skills.


Information/ Development Program


This service is designed to provide varied information about the College and its student organization activities, on personal formation, socio-economic information, educational trends and development, and occupational opportunities.

Individual Student Inventory


It is the repository of student's basic information, records and data, which are very important in his present and future personality and career development. Adequate data about each student are continuously collected. Reliable information about the student coming from scholastic records, interviews, impressions of teachers and parents, and result of various tests both individual and/or group is accumulated in the personal data sheet of the student.


On the basis of such information and all other data available, the counselor hopes to assist the student in making progress toward adjustments both inside and outside school.


Follow-Up and Monitoring


This service is designed to follow-up in school and assists the student in coping with his problem. The counseling session/s continues until the student is capable of adjusting himself and solving his/her own problems.


Research and Evaluation


This service is designed to provide adequate and significant information and data for the continual development of the program and services of the Guidance Unit.
