The Electronics and Communications Engineering Students' Society aims to achieve recognition from companies related to Electronics and Communications, thereafter recommend members of the organization for on-the-job training and job opportunities. It is a local chapter of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Expanded Metro Manila Student Chapter (IECEP-EMMSC) in the College.


Vision/Mission


The ECESS envision itself as the sole imbodiment of ECE students, aims for Academic excellence and endeavors to balance human growth and development. Competencies in Scholastic Affairs and Extra Currucular Activities deemed highly worthy for ECE students as challenge for the future of the College of Engineering and FEU-East Asia College.


  1. Provide activities that are helpful and highly essential to build up students’ ingenuity in the field of Electronics and Communications.
  2. Develop solidarity among members of the society and promote warm relationship among ECE students.
  3. Promote membership in IECEP by acquainting the student body with the ideas, shared interest, purpose and objectives of IECEP.
  4. To achieve recognition from companies related to Electronics and Communications, thereafter recommend members of the organization for on the job training and job opportunities.

History


The Tower and the Signal unifies the unified voice of the ECE students. The Circle represents oneness of the students and continuity of the goals of the organization, the three colors are black – affiliation to IECEP, Red – affiliation to FEU-East Asia College and Yellow – Affiliation to FEU Community. Yellow – it connotes the light what will shine in each ECESS member, guiding to the realization of the beauty of being an ECE student. Red Signifies warmth and Camaraderie encompassing all the members. Founded year 2002 and the first president was Mr. Lambert Reyes.
